FRANKFORT, Ky. - The 2010 Daktronics Super Region 2 Teams were announced recently, as selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), and Kentucky State's Derrick Addai was named to the 2nd Team Defense.

A senior from Houston, Texas, Addai was recently named to the 2010 SIAC All-Conference First Team Defense. He is also a 2010 SIAC Preseason All-Conference First Team Defense selection.

Addai, who played in all 11 games for the Thorobreds (started 10), led the SIAC in total tackles (95) and ranked 42nd in the nation in tackles per game (8.64). He also ranked 9th in the conference for both sacks and tackles for loss with 14.5 for loss of 55 yards.
